Timesheet
A timesheet is a record of the hours a worker spent on the job over a given period, used as the basis for paying them and often for billing clients.
In context
Timesheets can be paper, spreadsheets, or generated automatically by a time-tracking system. Manual timesheets filled in from memory at the end of a week tend to be inaccurate and slow to reconcile, especially for staff who move between sites or clients. Automatically generated timesheets, built from real clock-in and clock-out events, are more accurate and far quicker to turn into payroll and invoices.
How BriefQR relates
BriefQR builds timesheets from actual scan-based clock-ins and clock-outs rather than end-of-week recall, and exports them neutrally to payroll and accounting.
