Everything you need to trust the hours
BriefQR is a time clock built for the people doing the work, and the manager who has to reconcile it on payroll day.
Scan to clock in and out
Operators scan a QR code (a printed static code or a dedicated display) and enter their PIN. That is the entire interaction, a few seconds at the door.
No shared logins, no biometrics
Each operator is bound to their own device with a single-use PIN, server-side. Hours are attributable to a person, not a shared code, and without fingerprint or face scanning.
Offline-first
Sessions assemble on the device and sync when connectivity returns. A basement or a dead zone never blocks a clock-in.
Soft location verification
Optional GPS ties a clock-in to a place. It is a signal for review, never a hard gate. A weak signal flags a session but never locks a worker out.
Portable, neutral export
A signed webhook with an open event schema, plus REST and CSV pull. Kimai is the reference connector. Your hours stay yours and go where your payroll already lives.
Multi-tenant & secure
Every company is isolated at the database level with row-level security. Manage multiple companies from one account without data ever crossing tenants.
Start with no hardware
Print a QR and you are running today. Add dedicated display devices later. Same scan, your choice of hardware.
A lapse never stops the clock
If a trial ends or a subscription lapses, manager admin goes read-only, but operators keep clocking in and out. You never lose paid hours.
